Emirates Rehab Centre receives coveted CARF International accreditation

Emirates Rehab and Homecare, an advanced and comprehensive rehabilitation centre under Emirates Hospitals Group, has received the coveted Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) International accreditation. The CARF is the highest level of achievement for excellence in inpatient rehabilitation.

A survey team from CARF International will be visiting EHRH on 6th August 2017 - 8th August 2017.

We invited the surveyors to evaluate how well we meet international standards for quality. The survey will tell us what we are doing well and ways we might improve. As a result of this survey, we may earn or continue accreditation.

Emirates Rehab helps young Emirati to regain strength after the accident

A combination of physiotherapy and occupational therapy has improved Mansour's condition. He is now able to move between bed and wheelchair without support, sit from lying posture with minimal support and stand in the parallel bar with support.

Welcome to the FUTURE!

On the 16th May 2017 Emirates Rehabilitation & Homecare services, hosted a demonstration of the Indego Exoskeleton. At this event, we had the honour of seeing a young man with a T7 complete injury (paraplegic) walk using this advance device. Before visiting our centre, he only experienced walking indoors on regular surfaces for demonstrations.
